Goofy Jacket

This is a great looking jacket and seems to have the important features that I will need. I ordered a large and I typically need a large for my chest (5'3'' 155lb 36DD). It fits well and I will have enough room for layers if needed. I did not find it runs small or large but TTS. I would say it's classic fit and not roomy or athletic. I am a little on the petite side so the powder skirt is a little low on me but even if I snap it higher at my natural waist it doesn't have any negative impact on the outer part of the coat and will work fine. I could even reverse it if need it and flip it up and it would work that way too. I'm actually very impressed with this coat overall and am happy to be able to support a Boulder company since I live in Colorado! I would have given it 5 stars, but it is just a little long on me, but that's part my fault since I'm on the petite side. I bought wisteria and love the color. The quality and style is great and I can't wait to wear it. The heaviness and warmth seems like it will be "mid" and layers will be added for extra cold weather or on the slopes if needed. I got a great deal, and it seems WELL worth the price paid $140.

I purchased the XS I am 5’4 113lbs and I can still fit a puffy under it, it runs larger than the measurements state. When it arrived the “L” on “boulder gear” was falling off and the letters were loose on the arm which made it seem a little cheap. I can tell they will all fall off within the season. The jacket should still look nice, stitching the brand name on would have been a better option. This jacket is thin but is water proof and wind proof which will help and flexibility is fantastic for me anyways since I have shoulder room, it’s a roomy jacket but doesn’t stretch and doesn’t make a big swoosh plastic noise like other similar jackets. It has a snow skirt and built in thumb holes so that you don’t have to worry about snow getting in. The front pockets are fake, only side pockets with zippers. I LOvE that the bottom zips up so I can fit my harness underneath for ice climbing. It’s a two way zip. I purchased the goblin color which appears green in the photo, it’s actually a light grey-ish blue. It’s still a pretty color, I was just hoping for the dark green as pictured. I have four stars due to it arriving with the “bouldering gear” letters starting to peal off the jacket. I’m going to keep this jacket because it’s adorable, fits me great, I can fit my puffy underneath if it’s incredibly cold, I like the design, waterproof, and windproof. This jacket may need some fleece or wool layers underneath depending on temps. At 14 degrees I was fine!
